The Doctors Daniel were in their early twenties when they opened their practice in Covington in 1982. They are both graduates of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Over the years they have trained over 20 recent vet school graduates and sent them on to prosperous careers. They have watched their practice grow into a 5 vet facility. Dr Lori manages the practice along with her 2 office managers, focusing mostly on payroll and finances. She also continues to teach exercise classes part time. In 2005, Dr Dan helped found the Louisiana Technical College School for Veterinary Assistants and Technicians. He also enjoys practicing part-time between fishing trips staff in 2006.
Dr. Katie Bannerman graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Katie is a native of the Northshore and began her veterinary career here at Animal Medical Center as a high school intern. She practiced in Metairie for 7 years before returning home to the Northshore. She takes special interest in endocrinology and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and dog, Steve.
Dr. Jeanne Richardson graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. As the daughter of veterinarian, Max Begue, Dr. Jeanne grew up around veterinary medicine. Her time spent at her father’s small animal practice in the French Quarter and on the backside of the racetrack at the New Orleans Fair Grounds nurtured her love for animals and strengthened her desire to become a veterinarian. Dr. Jeanne and her husband have two daughters and currently reside in Covington. During her free time, she enjoys saltwater fishing and cooking.
